Call your media rival's bluff
Issued by: Full House Events

Whether you are a fish or a shark at the table, rockets or cowboys may flop, but chances are a Mississippi Slick could still bluff you out the pot.

If you understood all that, be sure you've secured a seat at the Really Big Media Poker Challenge, hosted by Full House Events. And if it was all Greek to you, you should still be sure you've booked your place, because learning from the pros at Full House Events is a great way to learn the world's most popular card game.

Full House Events is spreading five card fever across corporate South Africa, using poker-themed evenings as the perfect backdrop for networking and corporate entertainment. And it's now giving the media a chance to bet or bluff in the Really Big Media Poker Challenge.

A number of print publications, radio stations and TV channels have been invited to submit a team for the Challenge. Forget ABCs, AMPS, RAMS and TAMS. On 15 October, it's the biggest chip stack which will decide who's the top media brand, as competing titles and stations are pitted against each other at the poker tables.

And since media-types aren't known for dishing out their cash, they'll be pleased to know there is no money required. All Full House Events' poker-themed evenings comply with gambling regulations, since no actual cash is ever on the table. So while losing to your arch media rival might be a mortifying experience, it will at least not be a bankrupting one.

The action starts at 6pm at ReD Restaurant in Greenside, Joburg. Contact Tracy Hyams on tracyhyams@mweb.co.za before 10 October 2008, and RSVP to secure your seat, and your chips.
