Popular Afro-fusion group CODA will be performing a free concert for their fans at Wembley Square on Thursday the 21st May 09. The event is the launch of their hit-destined soccer single ‘Blow Your Vuvuzela' by producer and composer, ‘Gabi le Roux'. Sharing the same message as their recently released album, African Renaissance, CODA's new song celebrates positive newness in Africa and is in keeping with their warm, classy and energetic signature sound.
One of the city's most in-demand bands, CODA has entertained some of the country's most eminent celebrities, business people and politicians. Their album, African Renaissance, has catapulted CODA into the limelight and is receiving extensive airplay on radio stations across SA. CODA was a finalist alongside FreshlyGround in the Best of Cape Town Awards 2008 and voted one of SA's top five bands in the 2006 Top Billing Lifestyle Awards.
