South African b2b magazines, Design Indaba and 25° in Africa, received top honours in this year's Tabbie Awards announced this week in Cleveland, Ohio.
More than 700 entries were received in the 2008 Tabbie Awards, with nominations coming from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Lebanon, Singapore, Switzerland, UAE and South Africa.
Receiving a Silver Award in the category, Front Cover Digital Imagery, was Interactive Africa's Design Indaba, for its ‘Fanfest 2010' edition. Design Indaba also received two Bronze Awards in the category, Front Cover Photograph.
Media in Africa's 25° in Africa received an Honourable Mention in the category, Front Cover Photograph for its edition on ‘The increasing oil price'.

Presented by Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI), this fifth-year editorial and design competition was open to English-language b2b publications worldwide, published at least quarterly.
