eMarketing textbook finds its way to Kenya!
Issued by: Quirk eMarketing

Tourism and online marketing have always been a likely couple. With the 2010 Soccer World Cup happening in South Africa, the need for local tourism agencies and service providers to catch up with eMarketing trends has increased evermore.

This is not only true in the South African market, but also in Africa as a whole. Unfortunately, a lack of skills and shortage of available bandwidth continually widens the gap between international tourists and Africa as a destination of choice.

Fortunately, E Tourism Africa, a new initiative to develop online tourism in Africa, launched in Johannesburg in July this year. And, always at the forefront of developments in the online industry, Quirk eMarketing is right alongside them. In addition to purchasing 250 hard copies of our book for distribution at their first conference in Johannesburg this year, E Tourism Africa will be distributing soft copies on CD at their next conference in Kenya next week. Following great success in South African market, and a number of books sold on the international market, this is our first venture onto the greater African continent, and we're thrilled that it's for such a good cause! Of this venture, Damian Cook, Managing Director of E Tourism Africa, says:

eMarketing: the essential guide to online marketing, is a great resource book which gives clear, simple information on how to get the best results from online marketing. The textbook is now part of the delegate pack for our Pan African E Tourism Africa conferences and I know our delegates have found it incredibly useful and easy to follow. We are delighted to be giving our delegates at our E Tourism East Africa conference in Nairobi this week, the PDF version of the text on CD.”

Our book's exciting little journey into Africa doesn't end on a CD in Kenya either; there are plans in the pipeline to try and ship hard copies into Ghana and Egypt for E Tourism Africa's upcoming conferences.

And, while we're on the subject of conferences, eMarketing: the essential guide to online marketing has been causing quite a stir in Cape Town too; most recently being used at the esteemed Nomadic Marketing Conference run by the UCT Graduate School of Business. Woohoo!

Keep your eyes peeled; this book of ours is going places!
