Communication: What Works for Africa

Tired of trying to make international best practice fit in locally? IABC Africa Region believes that we have so many excellent ideas and case studies on the continent that it's time we look to ourselves for communication expertise. That's why this year our conference programme predominantly features local experts, including keynote speaker Santie Botha, Group Chief Marketing Officer for MTN Group, to share with us how they have met communication challenges in Africa. This doesn't mean we haven't included international speakers this year. We have! We have just briefed them to first do a bit of homework on Africa to ensure that their case studies will be of use to us. We feel that it's time we turned the tables!
