Advertising to children: Interpreting of the code

The Advertising Standards Authority and Consumer Goods Council have the pleasure in announcing a seminar series on the new Code for Advertising to Children.

These seminars are aimed at companies, marketers, advertising agencies, and other interested parties to facilitate a national understanding of the new Code.

The seminars are in two parts:

Part One is a presentation/overview of the new Code presented in Johannesburg by Michael Judin of Goldwin Judin Attorneys and presented by Stefan Vos, Director of Marketing Regulation Advisors in Durban and Cape Town.

Part Two will be a discussion on global developments in the field of diet, physical activity and health, as well as the South African Programme for Nutrition Education Communication.

The Department of Health will also be invited to attend all meetings.
