This course provides an introduction to raster images and resolution, looks at the interface of Photoshop and why and when one would use Photoshop, looks at colour modes and their relation to display and print etc.
With Adobe Creative Suite, you can create beautiful, detailed artwork for your clients and projects. Editing images, creating photo compositions, and drawing vector graphics has never been a more fluid and flexible process than in the integrated design environment of the Adobe Creative Suite.
Course content:
• An introduction to raster images and resolution • A look at the interface of Photoshop and why and when one would use Photoshop • A look at colour modes and their relation to display and print. • A look at selections and paths and the necessity for isolating pixels in an image • Working with layers in Photoshop and the importance of them within Photoshop • Using filters • Working with channels • Sampling and re-sampling of images • Retouching images • A look at file formats and their relevance to a particular task • Creation of artwork from scratch • Working with adjustment layers and masks • A look at the image adjustment tools
