The Paediatric HIV Foundation 'Mannequin Ball' took place on Saturday, 3 June 2006, at the Mount Nelson Hotel. The event was to raise funds for the Paediatric HIV Foundation, whose primary concern is to provide education, support and ongoing assistance for babies, infants, children and young adults living with or affected as a direct result of HIV/AIDS. The ball was extremely successful and the auction, consisting of lingerie custom-made by Kink Lingerie and modelled by Ice Models, as well as host of other high nett worth items raised in excess of R250 000.00 for these children.
