Pixels for Charity initiative
Internet Solutions, who have always prided themselves on being at the cutting edge of technology, have come up with an innovative and creative way to raise a whole whack of money for charity.

The idea
Simple…they want to try and raise R1m for a worthy charity by selling 1 000 000 pixels for R1 each. Anyone is welcome to buy pixels, which are available in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels). When you buy pixels, you can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the space that you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. No obscene or offensive images are allowed. Be as creative as you can - this is supposed to be fun!

Who gets the money?
All monies raised in the Pixels for Charity initiative (with the exception of bank charges) will be donated to The Topsy Foundation. The Topsy Foundation partners with rural communities, empowering people infected with, and affected by HIV and AIDS, through medical care, social support and skills development.

More information on the Topsy Foundation is available at: http://www.topsy.org.za

Can I get a Section 18A Tax Deduction Certificate?
Absolutely! Once your pixels are live on the site, a Section 18A Tax Certificate will be e-mailed to you upon request to jacqui.carrara@is.co.za. The certificate is produced by The Topsy Foundation in their capacity as a registered charity.
