Executive chairman, Primedia Out of Home division, Steve Ratlou, today announced the appointment of human capital specialist, Alexia Shuenyane, as human resources director of all the companies in the division. The four media companies in her portfolio are Primedia Outdoor, Primedia Instore, Primedia Face2Face and Primedia Route2Market.

Shuenyane brings with her a wealth of experience in human resources. She has held various leadership positions within the HR field, at leading blue chip companies such as British Airways (international) and Liberty Life. Initially appointed 1st September 2006 to head up human resources at Primedia Outdoor, Alexia's early contributions crossed over into the other companies, persuading the directors to invite her to oversee the management of staffing throughout Primedia Out of Home.

Shuenyane's duties will involve finding qualified staff, assisting existing staff build their skill sets, developing mentoring programs, and ensuring Primedia Out of Home is recognised as the most attractive media owner group for career-minded employees.
